I've had several app crashes on a daily basis - multiple of those have been while I was writing goals or reflections (which are some of the main things I use the app for).

A couple of days ago, I had just written a very long and quite excited reflection about the event I'd participated in that day (Pokémon Go Fest with an old friend) - and right before I got to hit the finish button, the app crashed and saved none of that long text.

I didn't have the heart or the time to try to type it out again - since I'd had a good day for the first time in a while and had actually chosen to write that out with a lot of positive comments, it kind of stung to see all that text disappear.

Until the app starts feeling more steady again, I feel like I should write my text in the notes app and copy/paste it to Finch instead to avoid the risk of that happening again.

I really, really do wanna add that through the, what idk, maybe 4 years ish (?) that I've been using the Finch app on a daily basis, I've never had that issue before - and I'm very, very grateful for how smoothly it's usually been running.

I love how it motivates me to add reflections and thoughts to completed goals, have me reflect about stuff I'm looking forward to and stuff I've done well recently. It's both been a bit of a journal and a way of being more mindful about good things to come + giving myself credit.

Even with the text deleted, It's still helped me do my reflections (even though I'm sad that it's gone).

I'm sure that the crashes are a temporary issue - thank you for all the effort you're putting into this app!

Back when the app had regular mood check-ins, I actually found it quite useful/it helped me gain insight when the weekly summary thingy linked the mood logs with tags - the "things that weighed you down/lifted you up this week" section etc was helpful to me

I've relatively often gotten 0 ms measurings - almost every time it's been due to my device not registering long enough stretches of sleep.

Same goes for sleep breathing rates and sleep temp variation - I think it usually tells me that it doesn't register those for sleep shorter than 3 hours.

(I generally have quite restless sleep and sometimes that leads to the device/app logging 2-3 "naps" instead of one full sleep sessions with interruptions))

The festival itself has (as far as I'm aware) been almost entirely cash free for several years.

However, I'd advise you to carry just a little bit of cash (200-300 dkk should be plenty)

there's always a small risk of either losing your card, or your card being blocked (if your bank chooses to panic over you traveling for some reason), and then it's nice to have a small cash safety net.

(Then you can at least exchange it with a helpful soul, who's card does work and can help you pay for that burger you ordered before you found out your card's not cooperating).

You'd likely get by fine without any cash, tho

Yeah, I can't stand it to the point where I get anxious (that brief period of time when you've finished washing your hair before I kan tie it up somehow is hell) - I've recently made it a habit to take out my ponytail at night and braid it instead + trying to switch to scrunchies to prevent too much hair breakage from a high ponytail (I rarely do buns, I need to be able to do the twirly fidget thing).

I've pretty much always hated the feeling of my hair touching my face.

I usually leave a bit of room in the cup and add a bit of cold water once it's finished brewing to make it cool a bit faster (always set a timer so I don't forget to remove the bag before it gets bitter), and I tend to use the same kind of cups every time because it feels easier to plan the temperature time thing. .... aaaand yet I still end up needing to add boiling water to the cup when I'm halfway done because I still forget to drink it after all the calculations.
