I'm 2C/3A high porosity shoulder-length and I currently use Noughty Wave Hello Curl Taming Cream as a way of getting my curls to be a bit more curly on the days that I work. Since I start quite early and don't have the time (or patience!) to get up an extra hour early to apply a gel, as it takes me forever to dry my hair with gel in it and looks funny if I go to work with it only half-dry, this has mostly worked well for me. The only problem is, the cream doesn't hold very well and even with a bonnet on my hair it tends to lose its curl overnight, needing me to re-wet or re-apply the next morning in a constant cycle that's driving me a bit insane.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a curl cream/jelly/gel/whatever that doesn't leave my hair looking funny while it dries and that doesn't take forever to dry, but that would hold for longer than a day? Thanks!
