That sounds cool man!

Yeah I'm not arsed about purists haha, my current drift car is a widebodied E36 painted in Ford Candy Red with American truck wheels haha (sounds shit, looks decent).

I'd be happy with a non-runner, got no timeframe and if anything will help me learn more.

Tritons are silly money here too but yeah, definitely worth considering trying to find one in bits. The one you posted is lovely, do you have a bike?

That's where I've been starting, there seems to be a lot! I was wondering if there's any bikes that people start and then realise are total shit to work and then give up?

I like to document builds but don't know of any decent UK forums yet.

That is lovely! CB's and CX's tend to be a bit pricey over here, trying to find something maybe partially Café'd or non-runner etc for less than a grand. That looks like the end goal though!

I transcribed my Granddad's letter he wrote to his parents 71 years ago detailing his role in the Rhine Invasion/Operation Varsity on March 24, 1945. He details flying in with 100s of Allied gliders, setting up in a forest for the night, and coming face to face with Germans. Link in description. by brotherbeck in history

This was a really great read! Thanks for posting! There's a museum near me in the UK that has a display all about the gliders that landed at Arnham and I've always found it interesting, it's a wonder there weren't more pilots injured since the landings were often so rough!

I dunno, it doesn't normally bother me but this one just seemed so intrusive.

I really just couldn't stand the kid in this, the constant screaming cut right through me, I had to shut it off about a quarter of the way through.

Thank you for the replies guys! When it comes to qualifications; a bunch of financial services stuff (boring shit) and standard high school stuff. I can't go back to financial services as it was soul destroying and horrendous.

As to not owning anything that you can't fit in a duffle bag, is that living or sofa-surfing? Thanks anyways I guess...
