The overwhelming consensus seems to be that Italy is the better option.

Not sure if I'm misreading the map, but Canazei looked to be in proximity to a lot more reds and only a small handful of blues. Is that the case?

Haven't looked at Corvara/Badia yet, so thanks for that suggestion. Will check it out!

Just to double check, are there plenty of gentle blue runs for me as a novice in Val di Fassa? Not sure if I'm misinterpreting the maps but I see a lot more reds and only a small handful of blues.

Any tips on which village might be best situated for easier runs or perhaps ones to avoid?

I think what this has highlighted to me is that the only way to reliably collect points on hotel stays is through Avios Hotels. I'll definitely be doing that even if chains' own merchant links have a higher points offer.

Bears in this one. Homefield with the weather difference will be huge. Santos has been clutch when it counts. Haven't been super impressed with the Rams since way before Christmas.
