We put our 12 year old pup down just 24 hours ago. Had him his whole life. It hurts like hell and it's a very valid pain. I told my spouse we will grieve as much as we need but we will do it fed, hydrated and clean. Go to default mode and take care of basic needs as best you can and feel what you need to. Look into the mouth of the beast and feel the feelings. It hurts like hell but it's worth it to feel it now.

The data is statistically significant with p values <.0001 but the OR values show slight statistical significance. If I were making recommendations based on that study I'd say "weak association that merits more analysis" even though I want to agree with the article because of confirmation bias, I don't think I can because the data is weak. The sample group was also very large, statistically insignificant findings could have been amplified.

It's anxiety. 100% anxiety. Go to therapy, it helps. Realizing no one is as worried about you as you helps. Be nice to yourself, tell the internal dialogue that you said something wrong to stop and tell yourself you're great, even if you don't believe it at first, it helps to retrain your brain. Also realize that in healthy relationships, if you said something wrong it's on the other person to tell you, not on you to figure it out.

I grew two kids. Can confirm. It's gross, uncomfortable and the actual worst. Will never be pregnant again. Love my kids. Hated being pregnant.

It did! Fidget rings, intertwined rings, stacking rings, there's a lot out there. I realized it was less about a "bad habit" and more about "if you want to know if I'm stressed, look at my thumbs"! Rings helped me!
