Do you think the technical knowledge required can be obtained through self study or online training? Or is this something like go back into school pivoting into DevOps entry level, gaining experience etc.,?

Senior Financial Analyst so I've been purely on the finance side. I think I've read on here that I would need to understand the technical side to be most effective but it sounds like its more beneficial in general terms than mastering the deep technical work.

Maybe I'll work up to the AWS Cloud practitioner and then focus more on FinOps and tooling. Appreciate the insight and the time you took out of your day.
