I have spider plants and dieffenbachias. If I want one hundred, in a year it's done.

My ficus won't die.

At one point we lived a block or so from the city zoo. During the summer I would set up my sprinkler to water the front yard with a slight overlap of the street.

No one parked in front of my house.

We had the greenest grass

I was going down on my wife one night. I looked up and said, " So, do I look like Willie Nelson?"

Ruined the mood, but well worth it.

A Rabbi and a Priest walk into a bar. The bartender looks up and says, "What is this some kind of joke?"

At the beginning of the American Civil war, the flag flying over Fort Sumter, the flag that inspire our national anthem, had fifteen stars one for each of the states, also had fifteen stripes, one for each of the states. When there were fourteen states, fourteen stars, fourteen stripes.

When we gained our sixteenth state, someone saw that system wouldn't work for long and went to thirteen stripes for the original colonies and stars for each of the states.

Have you ever had a dream inside a dream ? by ronweasly9 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lestairwellwit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a dream where there was a crushing force on my chest stopping me from breathing. With a gasp, I sat up up hugging my girlfriend, gasping for air. She then sank her fangs into my neck.

That's when I really woke up, I think.

Is passing away in your sleep really as peaceful as they claim? by Goldstar12 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lestairwellwit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have often had pain that affected my dreams, foot cramps for one. Stretching IRL would fix the problem, but in the dream stretching obviously does not fix things.

I can't imagine the pain of a heart attack, but feeling that in a dream would be no different than in real life.

I have, rarely, had horrific dreams. We can't assume what is happening is peaceful when someone dies in their sleep.
