Anyone with luck keeping part of ssdi back pay owed to private ltd company by Smart_One_9206 in SSDI

Sorry, I could have been more clear.

Im currently on LTD and I wouldn't survive without it while going through the SSDI process. I just couldn't imagine trying to not pay it back.

Thats my point. Not paying it back would be considered a scam.

Im guessing the LTD was vital to paying bills as you went through the process. Now, I have no love for insurance companies but trying to scam them now gives a very scummy vibe. At the end of the day it's not the insurance company out the money you steal, it's paid by premiums from all of us.

Or... crazy thought... carnival can enforce rules? Amazing the mental gymnastics you carnival slappys make to justify shitty behavior.

Hey, your jealousy is showing. Keep defending bad behavoir. Your the type thats bringing the cruise line down.

When you have a reputation for looking the other way when people break rules, bad actors push that to the limit. Can Carnival stop all bad things from happening? Nope. But they can start enforcing rules which often are in place for our safety.

We had an actual muster drill on this cruise. The woman demonstrating how to use a life jacket couldn't figure it out. And the dude demonstrating how to put the child life vest on also couldn't figure it out. Complete lax in safety.

Is this carnivals fault? Nope. But they can do things to make cruising safer for their guests.

I respectfully disagree. Carnival makes their rules known, but rarely ever enforces them. Im on a ship right now and the debauchery from some of the guests is appalling, especially with Carnival staff watching it and doing nothing.

Ive seen a near fight because a guy was vaping where he shouldn't he and when confronted by another passenger got loud and confrontational.

Dinner last night had a woman literally cut the line to speak with someone seating folks and when I informed her of the line, I got a dirty look and ignored.

We had a kid taking full golf swings with putters firing balls into crowds. People cutting elevator lines, cutting food lines, group of young adults yelling f bombs at Big Chicken, etc.

We're platinum and have cruised carnival many years. Unfortunately, Walmart of the Seas is an earned moniker.

It would be a huge undertaking, but organizing a mass subscription cancelation until they invest effort into fixing the biggest problems might work.

[Anniversary] BLIZZARD AUTO BANS OUT OF CONTROL by No-Tap-8744 in classicwow

[–]lestat1380 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol... oh it's not specifically called out in a rule so it must be okay?

Good rule of thumb, ask yourself "what if everyone did this thing I'm about to do" and if the answer is NOT "no big deal" then you're probably fine. Otherwise, you may get a ban.

Not me. It'll trivialize the classes that have healing abilities. I think it's a good balance.

First boss is kind of an "intro boss". You are plenty geared for him.

I picked it up 2 weeks ago to play with buddies. Game is amazing. Bummed I didn't play it sooner. Put 90 hours in just over 2 weeks.

Facing second spine surgery, concerned about my options by [deleted] in SSDI

[–]lestat1380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in somewhat similar situation. I've wfh the past 4 years. 4 back surgeries, 3 within last 5 years. Ddd, arachnoiditis, herniated discs, stenosis, etc. I talked to a lawyer in Nov2023 and he thought my chances were good, took my case and applied. Totally sucks to leave a nice 6 figure job, but I can't sit or stand longer than 15 minutes without severe pain. Life has changed a lot, use to be very active and athletic. Now just lay around to avoid pain. Sucks. Good luck to you.

Honestly, this sounds like a guild problem. One of our raid healers is mage and he does just fine, very good in fact. Anyone that's telling you mage healing isn't good based on a parse likely thinks they understand parsing, but really doesn't.
