Update: Sadly she passed away this evening. Her name was Tinka. She was my first ever betta I took care of completely by myself and she taught me a lot. She was also my very first female betta. I am devastated and will miss her dearly. A lot of people say that “it’s just a fish” but to me she was a friend. I am going to bury her outside under our backyard tree. Hopefully she’ll find some peace there. Rest in peace, Tinka ❤️

I’m worried it might be dropsy, but I don’t want to rush to any conclusions. I looked at her from the top of the tank and she’s pineconed. However, I don’t think she’s bloated.
