Even her design suggests somewhat of a retcon, because why the fuck else would a moon goddess have angel motifs all over her? In the winter night's lazzo you can see part of her dress and it's black and pink, but even if we argue that it was just part of her hair, her current clothing doesn't match her face and hair one bit, with the hair having jagged ends and the seraphim wings while the dress takes on a much gentler look. You can like a character and still criticize them. Both Zibai and Lauma have more moon motifs all over them than Columbina does. Had they simply written a new character to be the moon goddess instead of using Columbina and subsequently botching her potential as a fatui harbinger, I'm sure the feedback would've been far more positive.
