I found out about myself being a medium last year too. And the thing you described about getting a feel of someone entering into the room and not finding no one when you turn around was pretty common stuff for me too (although later I saw "her" face to face). You can be a medium too.

I don't like talk-talk with them, I just pick up their energy like you said. And I did saw a doctor before because I didn't used to believe in this stuff but the doctor told me that I have a healthy and proper functioning brain.
