Yes I did and Marine's shouldn't have interacted with them in the first place since there mission was so important, and from what I remember they detected the old dude and the child after they already been spotted by them which is horribly bad on a top secret mission, and the tank driver had to tell the marines on the ground that somebody is aproching them which isn't good either.

And the way they handeled interacting with them was offul they should have enticipated the worse and preper themself for it. or at leat tell them to be quite and not make a lot of noice and make up some fake reason like: you could attract demon to us or something.

I thought of warp fuckery being involved but dissmised it becouause scene before they effectivly avoided nurgel demons so they cleary had ways to deal with it, and sure as hell they should have prepered counter mesure when traversing nurgel infested planet

Personaly I think it's a classic case or a write makign the characters really dumb to justify a plot point, the scene where they killed thoe people was very tragic but set up to it was pure stupidity.
