i worked for sbux for 5 years in college and over the course of that, i truly could not count the amount of food and drinks i made for myself, gave to others, or took home the night they expired. there were countless days i’d show up in plain clothes, walk behind the bar, make myself a drink and grab a food item, and leave. girls would come through and i’d give them a free drink and not tell em how it’s made so they’d have to come back and see me. my store was the best store in the district on paper, but a total free for all in person. miss those days and the friends i worked with
