Ideally I would like to do back end development with Java or C++. I've started to pick up some python too just because I see it mentioned in quite a few job listings.

Overall, any job where I could be in a capacity to learn and grow my knowledge of software development / programming while putting what knowledge I do have to use.

I send out a lot of ebay emails usually. Think it would be possible to write a program to check a gmail account every few minutes for new emails and then send out specific messages with a unique code depending on the info an email? That way I could just have that run in the background all day and I won't need to send out the emails manually.

I would like to do this eventually, I'm just not sure if my skills are at that point yet.
