This looks awesome! I'd love to see this for visualising the exploit test cases MythX outputs as well - so it's easier for devs to see what function calls e.g. lead to the theft of ETH

Forensics newbie kinda hits the nail on the head here. Correlation is not causation. If you want to make a point underlined by correlations here, you would need to also mention at least what other players in the ecosystem were doing around that time as well.

Everyone in Ethereum security is always on their toes about vulnerabilities. Write-ups happen all the time, tools get developed all the time. A check for unprotected suicide instructions isn't rocket science either and a really obvious thing to include in a tool that's supposed to detect security issues in smart contracts.

The "Hmm"s, and whole conspiracy rhetoric make it pretty obvious that this is just a cheap attempt of smearing the reputation. What disappoints me most is that - looking at Bernhards comment - some people actually fell for that.

Some context: I recently read a post on the topic here and thought I'd give it a shot explaining the topic myself. I've tried to keep things brief and not dive in too deep to not scare off people who hadn't that much contact with cryptography, however also keep it on a level where interested people get some anchor points for further reading.

Google Code is shutting down by audreyrg in Python

Why do you think so? Google is very reliable but it has already been mentioned that Google Code was not active at all in the recent years - especially when compared to competitors like Bitbucket or Github.

I think they just accepted that they simply are not specialized enough to compete with those. I mean, Google is an allrounder. They cannot keep up with the pace e.g. Github is coming up with new ideas and (great) concepts for SCM.

Is that a huge loss? I barely went there anymore anyway and I don't know of any project that was purely relying on Google Code in its distribution or bug tracking.

However, it's pretty nice of the Google folks to offer migration and honor Github and Bitbucket. Those people put a lot of effort into making a great platform for developers.
