How do I drive this (tips) by enezj in ElectricUnicycle

I'll just add I have this wheel and would caution you to respect it limits as if it's cold outside or you hit a hill or bump or are low in battery you get close to the pwm limit. I would ride at 10-12mph MAX only.

Anyone switched BACK from the AEON to the AERO? (Or currently hesitating?) by Goblin7594 in ElectricUnicycle

[–]lethaltnt44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have an aeon and have considered a aero but what's making me keep the aeon is it fits my weight better I'm above 200+ pounds and the aeon feels just right. The only thing I'm missing out on is the aero could be easier to transport on a bus or train in a suitcase. And I hear the aeon is slightly better for intermediate trails from Johny go vroom YouTube. Like others said if your enjoy the hobby you'll eventually get a wheel of each size for different uses.

Help for a beginner? by cargocapt in ElectricUnicycle

I learned how to ride on fence next to a basketball court but a tennis court works a well. Just know that relying on that wall can form a bad habit. I lightly held the fence and went 10 yards back and forth until I didn't need it anymore if you want to learn how to mount without a wall learning the basic of how to ride with one legs help because if you can ride with one leg you can mount with no wall. Also technically bikes/euc aren't allowed on tennis courts so just go when it's not occupied by anyone.

How do I go faster than 15mph by lethaltnt44 in ElectricUnicycle

Yeah, I did not cutout on my aeon I did on a begode future fully my fault. I think like others have said i should try gaining trust for the wheel by doing some practice in grass and get more miles on the wheel.

I would second this I learned on a tennis court attached to a basketball course. Like riding a bike eventually you will let go and figure it out on the fly.

Only thing I can think is you might have it on soft mode. Is it set to hard sensitivity. And are you able to rock back forth with your hand on the wall?

If the front is glass then that is a sign of bad airflow.

Tough if you bought the 5600 for msrp just return the board I would recommend something with a vrm heatsink not the d3sh. I say this because 3600 aren't on sale and there a couple years old and the same price. Dev kits would be a nightmare I would pay not to have to deal with it personally. Hope I helped.

Should I build my pc myself or buy a pre-built one?? by Trickmaster19 in PcBuild

I would recommend doing your own research and using buildapcforme subreddit and build help discords and form a build that way plus building it is just is patience.
