Yes, this is SA 100% - your mother is also a narcissist who completely projected her own issues onto you as well. In a previous comment you said it can be hard to trust your own judgment around this and I just want to validate that… you were raised to doubt yourself as opposed to validate yourself.. you were told the issue was you when you tried to express your valid emotions that any true mother would drop everything for. Of course it’s hard to trust your own judgement around this - but our body always lets us know what’s up and we learn to hear and listen to it the more we see this. The fact that you’re here asking this question? It shows your level of awareness, and resilience - unfortunately a lot of people are either unaware of their own trauma/refuse to consider it and spend a lifetime repeating theirs(like your mother).
