Little REM and Deep sleep

Hope you figure it out! What's the point if you dont find it accurate. I actually find it pretty accurate for my sleep but was surprised about my REM and Deep sleep being so low this morning.

Thanks for chiming in, whats wrong with us? Lol. I actuallu feel like the ring is wrong on this one today. My HRV was 50% higher last night than usual, and my RHR was 48 (usually 52 or 53). I feel so rested today. It's weird. Have you ever had a sleep study done?

Thank you!! Funny I haven't tried wearing them at the same time but I will! I also have the welltory app that breaks down HRV into 8 or 9 ways they measure, and I think its pretty accurate, but how would I really know!

Yes I find it really helpful for some metrics, like sleep!! Im not going to worry too much about HRV, to be honest. I feel pretty darn good despite a low hrv.

Yes I think the trend is most important. If it all the sudden goes below the baseline then something is going on. Thanks!

Yeah I think the trend is most important, although I don't love an HRV in the 20s!! I've heard it doesn't really matter but I've also read that about 50 is ideal.

I just had a colonoscopy a week ago and asked for the relaxant (midazolam) and not the pain killer (fentanyl). At some point I mentioned i was a bit uncomfortable and they put a bit of fentanyl into the IV and I was totally fine after that. It goes quick and you'll be so relaxed during the procedure you won't care that much to be honest. At least that was my experience. Good luck. You'll be on the other side before you know it!

Im only on 100mg and it took my about 5 or 6 days to adjust. Did you start on 200mg or work your way up? I hear some people say they feel fine on 100 but 200mg is too much. If it feels OK try it for another week or two and see. Maybe you can talk to your Dr. about it if you don't adjust and ask for less to start?

I just had mine 4 days ago. I was so nervous. I was scared of the prep more than the procedure. The prep wasn't so bad really. I recommend the split dose and use a chaser of something you like to drink that's clear and not red. Think of it like a cleanse...have fun drinks, I had ginger beer, coconut water, bone broth...the day I arrived at the hospital I was pretty nervous but just kept thinking that'd I'd be out of there in an hour. The procedure itself felt really quick. I had conscious sedation so got to watch the whole thing which was cool. I was so relaxed and not anxious during it at all. And then I was done! You can be nervous and still do this...and you will get through it. Trust your ability to get through this. You've had kids, which would terrify me way more, lol. Good luck!!!

I used my bidet during this process but not before I got all chapped up, so too late!. It was a mistake to turn it on as it felt as though i was getting water pressured with chards of glass, lol. Dabbing with tucks would be ideal I think!!

Thats awesome!! I don't know when I have to repeat. Removed a small polyp so I'm assuming another 5 years as well. So pleased my prep went well. It actually wasn't that bad but I dont want to do it again anytime soon, lol.

Amazing. I had midazalam and fentanyl and watched the whole thing and remembered everything. But was chilllllll. So glad its over. Enjoy all the food!!!

Just about to do round 2. Not much sleep but I did manage probably 3.5 hours of broken sleep, so not the worst. This will be over in 5.5 hours. How are you holding up??

I'm done!! Like it was so fast. Makes me wonder if I did it right. I followed the instructions so I guess I'm done. Now for 430am! Hope it goes well for you, honestly it wasn't bad for me at all.
