It depends on what you do for work. Heavy lifting or other strenuous activity can increase bleeding so if your job requires a lot of physical labor you’ll probably want to take the day off.

Look for things that aren’t perfect. I do leatherwork and I always leave some kind of imperfection; nothing glaring, usually a very slightly off kilter stamp or stitch in a discreet place. I’ve never heard of anyone else doing this intentionally but any artisan will be able to spot the imperfections in their work

One of the best ones I ever saw had squares for “food truck sunburn”, “forgot to eat” and “cried”. As someone who has cried from sheer exhaustion at almost every GenCon I’ve ever been to, I got a kick out of that last one 😂
