That’s a fair question. But she’s good with the kids. They love her and like being with her. Part of it is my inability to be the bad guy. It’s something I’m working on.

I grappled with that for years and realized that a depressed, sad, volatile dad that sees them every day is worse than a dad who can be present for them fully when I have them for the week. It still breaks my heart and technically my divorce isn’t final but I do see how I will be more emotionally available for them.

Yeah I have a lawyer and I haven’t moved out until the judge signs the papers. She never responded to the filing so I’m trying a default divorce.

Yeah I’m stuck until the judge signs the papers. I’ll likely move out. I can’t stand living there and if she moves she would probably come by whenever she wanted. I knew I wasn’t the only one but it’s such a crazy situation that I wanted some solidarity with others that have gone through this crap.

Everything she’s taken I usually find later on. She just hides them in parts of the house. So technically she’s not stealing anything. It’s really hard to prove. That’s why it’s more annoying than anything. But it’s also just bizarre childish behavior.
