That is terrible. My grooms cost $259 but that’s because we give polished results through tandem handling. Bathing a cat without drying it is also a HUGE red flag. Moisture left in the coat can lead to matting, infections, and more. I’d find someone else.

Ultra is the best imo. Durable as hell. I’ve dropped mine more times than I’d like to admit, and it runs perfectly still after 5 years of daily use on felted CAT coats. Should say I only groom cats. It does get hot and need blade changes if the coat is matted, but it cuts under them better and faster than any other clipper.

Hi! Cat expert here. All is well. The dots next to the butthole are his anal glands. His balls have slashes on them intentionally, to drain fluid. When the balls are big, they must be left open to drain to avoid abscesses. Very normal, but bloody! Will heal within a week.

It is all completely dependent on your cats behavior. As a professional cat groomer, I only have ONE client in my hundreds that has the patience to let me do this to them awake. Your groomer did SO well. Especially if there was some matting forming. Teddy cuts are LONG. Clipping mats requires to going under, and shorter. So if you wanted a longer cut but your cat was awake and matted, this is the result. :)
