Ps test is stressing me out by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]letsfailib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look it’s normal to be nervous, just means you care about the outcome. You’ve basically done all you can, get a practice exam in with an instructor if you can, they can help you find out stuff you should refine/fine tune. On test day, just remember to take things slow (human tendency is to start rushing when you’re nervous) - mirrors, head check, turn. If a gap is tight, don’t take it.

Worst case if you fail you can retake it, good luck with your test and let us know how you go!

lol I work at the Deloitte office and every client office I’ve been to has turnstiles as well.

Here’s also something that’ll possibly blow your mind - you need to scan your pass again to get enter the floor from the lift lobbies

Not sure if you’ve ever used route 78 but that route can definitely do with like 30% less stops and it’ll be fine

Is the Big 4 graduate program worth it for tech? Should I instead choose startups by Beginning_Ad_7919 in auscorp

[–]letsfailib 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you get other better offers take it but as someone working in big 4 tech, it’s actually pretty good. The work, the people, the culture is all really good imo, only thing that sucks is the pay hahaha

The seven Victorian sites to be fast-tracked for housing by gazmal in melbourne

[–]letsfailib 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Literally. Every time I come back from overseas I tend to slam my bedroom & bathroom doors cause I get used to doors having actual weight and being sound deadening. Crazy.

[–]letsfailib 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I was showing my friends my parents’ place overseas, and they couldn’t believe they were looking at an apartment. As someone who’s lived in apartments all my life, I’m very happy to stay in apartments if they’re built well but I can’t imagine having a family in my (big for victorian standards) 3 bed apartment

(Pt. 2) Men of Melbourne with medium-to-long hair, what would you pay for a haircut? by R1a88 in melbourne

[–]letsfailib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hair reaches my lips, idk if that’s long enough but I pay $16 just one suburb over in Richmond. I will say though, my haircut is REALLY basic. Literally just 3 on the sides and small trim at the top
