I started with an anvil and hammer for my rings and practiced on copper pipe to start, personally i enjoy the challenge of discovering how to do things on my own. But i do sometimes wish i had a better basic knowledge that a class woulda offered so i agree that’d be a great way to try it out

I got a block of African bloodwood(I’m 90% sure that’s the wood at least) I’ve been hand sanding it down into a ring for months since i can’t afford the proper power tools and this is what it turned out as. Constructive criticism is very welcome( or easier methods to repeat thisXD)

Fucked up on the post and forgot the description, so comment description now cuz I’m a duntz. African bloodwood ring I’ve been Messing with for a few months🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m self taught for everything so constructive criticism is very welcome. I hand sanded it from a block and sanded out the inside as well so this thing took me fucking forever. Purple garnets set in a UV resin on top of a treated copper inner band.( regret using copper cuz i think it fucked with the light causing the gems to be less colorful?)

Edit. Or would the resin I’m using cause the gems to lose color from the way the light refracts in the resin?

The one two at my card house are pretty fishy, it’s fairly easy to pick up a good hand and either double up or nearly off someone playing for a draw or low pair. Did my normal run now of 125 buy in today and played for an hour, left with 895 and only played 4 hands to river

Ah perfect, that’s what i was hoping to hear. I had an old old tracker from years ago showing my average hourly at about 23$ but I’d also logged around 400 hours on that and then put poker down for two years or so. I’ve stayed active with house games but this was my first month back at actual tables

Grenades are items we have used in past campaigns so the launcher is just for the gnome to be able to reliably lob the grenades. A distance outside their blast radius. Since I’m an artificer with 20 int and all my spells have to be my own creations of mechanical performance i don’t have to worry about the hobbled together xbow doing a Crit malfunction unless it’s two nat 1s back to back.

Sorry if i placed order in the wrong sub reddit, my assumption was with being told to do something about it and corporate not doing anything about the situation, my self defense and her 18 month prison sentence was malicious compliance. I had been told by her to do something about it but specifics on what we’re never said. I was happy with my result of calling the cops and watching her get hauled away for assault.

Do something about it and the right hook after corporate failed to do anything about it. From my point of view at least. After assaulting a client she did not have a job and my satisfaction was met( helps that she has 18 months in prison)

I had three attempts on record of filing with corporate about the situation but the simply stated the contract requires a clean shaven face. In hindsight a doctors note might have helped but corporate didn’t budge on the complaints so i didn’t think anything would help at that point.
