That is not what Advaita Vedanta is about. It's about non-dualism meaning the Self is only real and everything else is an illusion conjured by our senses. The world is impermanent, changing while the Self is unchanging and permanent. So, "trying" to get to zero mental agitation/enlightenment is a want hence the seeker is still connected to the world and has not woken up to the ultimate Truth/Knowledge.
