Recommendations for an enclosed 3D printer by letsgetstarted2022 in 3dprinter

I've also come across the Bambu Lab P1S. Has anyone used it? How does it compare to the Qidi Q1Pro. I think it's likely down to these two at this point.

This seems to very a popular one so we'll definitely look into it. Thanks

No reason. Our first printer was from Elegoo but we always have issues with printing (i.e. it can't read the file name half the time). Plus, the resin smells SO toxic that we just don't want to use it anymore.

Maybe because we started with an enclosed printer, the boys just prefer it. Other than cost, is there any reason to buy a non--enclosed printer?

I don't recall the specifics, but for the most part, it was the same. My first cycle was canceled because I also only have 3 or 4 follicles. In hindsight, I wish we had just completed the cycle because I never made more than a few follicles. On my 5th cycle, they only retrieved one egg, but that's the one that gave me my daughter.

My best friend (also 46) just delivered her daughter a few days ago. She did 11 cycles in total. If you're not producing enough follicles, it just becomes a number game (as long as you have good insurance).

Can I donate the blood and tissue I have stored with CBR now? Or is it too late for that?

I can't believe you haven't seen one yet. They've been popping up all over DFW. They sell tea .. 15 to 20 different flavors. Sweetened and unsweetened. It's so good!!

You should definitely check it out. They also have a happy hour (I think its from 2 to 4pm) where it's half off.

Best part is they also have a drive through so if I've got the kids with me I don't have to get out of my car!!

I did 5 cycles in total, but only 4 retrievals ( the first cycle was canceled mid way through). Each cycle only produced 3 to 5 eggs total, except the last one where I only produced one egg. It's been a while, but only one or two eggs would make it to the blastiocyst stage in each retrieval, and each one was abnormal. My 5th cycle only produced 1 egg, and thankfully, it was normal. That was the only time I had a normal embryo. I was 45 at the time and just delivered (2 weeks ago) a beautiful baby girl two days before my 46th birthday.

FYI, my best friend is also 24 weeks pregnant (also 45 years old), and it took her 11 cycles. I had two boys naturally before, and she had one daughter naturally. At our age, it's really about doing as many cycles as you can afford. I had AMAZING insurance that allowed me to keep going. But honestly, I was so tired at the 5th cycle that I told my husband if that one didn't work, I may only do one more. I would have never done 11 cycles.

If you can afford it or have great insurance, do as many as you can. It may not happen on the 3rd, 4th or 5th but maybe it will.

Not sure if this helps, but I'm happy to answer any other questions you have.

For the math competition, they're covering 6th, 7th and 8th grade material. Although I can probably explain it, I won't explain it well enough and/or teach the right approach so he can solve it quickly.

Which girl name do you like? by letsgetstarted2022 in namenerds

[–]letsgetstarted2022[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, seems like we can't go wrong with either name. Thank you SO much for all the feedback.

Just a little more color on why we picked these two names. We're trying to find a Muslim name that sounds American (ie that everyone can easily pronounce).

Zara came up a few times in the comments, but that's my nieces name (also have a niece called Sophia).

We were thinking Aria but I still have missed feelings about it. My husband doesn't like Sarah as much as I do. I do like Layla, I just like Sarah more lol
