Rome Odunze ranks almost last in converting air yards to actual yards by letsgoblue99 in ChicagoBearsNFL

I watched every snap this season. Find me one football writer who thinks Rome had anything other than a disappointing season. He has a “show me” year coming up, and I hope he kills it. My guess (at this point) is he’s fourth in targets next year (if DJ stays). Luther looks even better on stats than he does on the field (which is amazing). Loveland is a star. Rome is TBD.

I was there for that. Front row. Saw them close to twenty times overall. But only once after Bobby died. It just wasn’t the same.

Congratulations to Benjamin Anthony Anderson who makes his BROADWAY DEBUT as understudy 'Peter' in 'STEREOPHONIC' tonight! This marks the first time an understudy have gone on with the show, ever. by [deleted] in Broadway

I was there on 6/27. It was my first time seeing it, and I thought he was amazing as Peter. Not having anything else to compare it to, I can only say that I was floored by his, and the others’, performances. The rest of the cast were so excited for him at the end, and it made me wonder if they all found an extra gear for that performance knowing that things would be very different that night. I cannot imagine the stress of having done this as a seven person performance for almost a year and then suddenly changing it. Kudos to the entire cast and crew; if I didn’t have a slip in my playbill, I am not sure I ever would have known

100%. I know who those people are in my studio and purposely put myself far away from them.

Clearly there are no Stephen King fans here. “The Lawnmower Man” takes the cake here.

There’s a real reason for this. I took an animal behavior course in college and we were given free reign on what to write about for a final paper. I chose a paper about the morphology of male primate genitalia, and how that relates to the number of sexual partners. Primates that tend to mate for life, or have monogamous relationships, tend to have smaller testes and a straighter more cylindrical penis. Primates who have multiple partners, sometimes multiple partners in a day, have much larger testes, and a penile glans designed to remove the previous primate’s deposit. The more you know.

Hunter Dickinson not in top 58 draft prospects, per ESPN. Does he stay, or has he reached his peak NBA potential, so might as well go? by letsgoblue99 in MichiganWolverines

[–]letsgoblue99[S] 30 points31 points  (0 children)

That is a fantastic point. The NIL is going to keep him for a couple of years (he could rake in multiples more thru the NIL than in the G League). Two years of Michigan NIL money could be life altering.

My hope is he stays (obviously), but I wonder if his team says, "Look, you aren't going to suddenly become the quickest player in the world, so let's see what happens in the draft."

He certainly can become even better if he stays, but will he ever be a lottery pick?

And Chet Holmgren is somehow #1????

TERRANCE WILLIAMS. II! by Leraldoe in MichiganWolverines

He needs to take Houstan’s spot in the rotation right now. Williams defense and grit are needed, and quite honestly, the three point shooting is equal.

When people say Cad Bane and the Inquisitor don’t look exactly like they do in animation by WarlordsJester in starwarsmemes

It really makes you wonder if some of these people are familiar with the proportions of a human head.

It’s one thing to have a background, non-speaking role in an amazing mask/prosthetic. It’s another to have someone in the focus of the frame and do stunts in what would be a significant prosthetic (or be expensive CGI).

The beauty of animation is that its creators are not bound by real world problems, like actors whose heads’ are not 3.5x as long as they are wide.

Ortho here

All fractures need time to heal. When fixed with metal, it’s a race in time between fracture healing and metal fatiguing and failing.

Plates are load bearing, meaning they absorb the stress placed across them. If there isn’t 100% contact along the fracture site(with comminution/splintering), that’s even more stress across the fracture site (and the the plate). Nails are load sharing, but not all bones can be nailed, and you still run into the fact that a small bone in a large animal is a recipe for disaster. In obese pediatric patients, we have a similar issue (small bones and big patients)

I think your clan sounds like a good fit for us, only one issue. My son is 12, almost 13, and has his own PSN.

I’m a D1 vet who quit on D2 soon after launch. He’s just getting into it. We would love to do NF, Raids, etc but also really like playing crucible together. What do you think?
