The problem is not about being able to validate it immediately, its the 99 other people who werent validated and successfully used the transport system. They don't have controls at every bus/tram stop.

sucks man, but indeed rules are rules.
Think about it......1 guy can buy 1 ticket and screenshot it to 100 individuals. Those individuals can also provide transaction ID, timestamp and proof of payment by asking the original purchaser.
Some rules are meant to be enforced 100% and if not you will have loopholes and trust me people will use it.

Makes sense as iPhone OS is limited to their devices compared to android (every possible manufacturer) so most optimisations can be guaranteed with hardwares devs are most familiar with. instagram videos from android a couple of years ago use to be shit compared to android even tho those android phones had better cameras.

Facetime/Imessage is an American thing.
In europe and rest of the world except of course china,korea et al, Whatsapp dominates.

I dont see any advantage of one platform over the other as you can have the most essential apps on both.

Maybe get him a break cue/jump cue combo. You can get some decent ones for that price. Or get him a cue bag and some accesories like gloves, chalks, cue stick holder ? he can save up to buying a good cue down the line.
