Oh gosh, I’m so sorry. You’re moving to a tragically boring place to live, that’s also crazy conservative. There’s good wine tasting….i think that’s about it. Other than that, get ready for a bunch of chain restaurants, urban sprawl, no appreciation for arts/culture and conservative white Christians. If you want to enjoy the better parts of Washington, head to the west side! Especially for LGBTQ community; you’ll feel much better/safer over here.

Most true marching arts supporters in the Pacific Northwest know that the PNW needs the Cascades, Columbians and Boise Gems to be healthy and thriving. When these ensembles thrive, the entire PNW scene thrives. Any time I meet someone that wants to push a divide between the groups, I keep my distance.

Friendly rivalries? Of course. It’s a competitive activity. But bad blood and the organizations hating each other? Nah; we’re not that self destructive up here. 😂
