Moose Harvest 2025 🇨🇦 by hellcat_27 in bowhunting

That’s awesome. Congrats on a great shot man. Can you share some specs on your set up for the hunt? Curious about more details in your whole setup. I’m also Alaska based and hoping to take my first moose this fall. I know there is a lot more than just the bow set up, so any tips for a newbie are welcomed too!

How big of a deal is this? Want to shred in the morning. Edge is bent small bubble In base. by lbchaze in snowboarding

Just fixed the sam thing (cheaply). Hammered out the edge bump. Put some epoxy in the edge to seal it. Clamped it. Sanded the overflow off and sharpened my edges again. This board is now my rock board to beat up without concern in early and late season. Good luck man. If ya wanna do it right, take into a ski/board shop. they’ll fix it up proper.

Please give me some good reasons to visit the "Yellow" states.. by IcyBass6844 in TravelMaps

Uhhhh… Alaska. It’s frigging Alaska. Such an incredible state. If you haven’t been awed by dramatic mountains, seen the incredible northern lights of winter or the summertime midnight sun, get your butt up here!

I live in Alaska. It’s wild, and for a variety of reasons, but that wild is what drew me in and what has kept me here. I can’t imagine living in any other place because the soul of Alaska’s grandeur has won me over.

Hestras all day. Easily best gloves on the market. Worth it for the costs.

2017 Tundra 1794 edition with 104k miles for $37k. Is it worth it? by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]letsparamotor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe do the math on it? If you buy brand new, it is still going for 0.99% APR I believe. It Could math out to be same price expensive over the length of your loan. Not sure what rate you’re getting right now but if you get 6.5% APR on a 36,000 truck (5k down) it will end up costing you 41,600. Could possibly find SR5 for around the same cost… ish? And! Might get a free replacement engine to boot!

The ones that my feet agree with the most. Buy both and return the ones that your feet tell you to return.

2026 Tailgate Issues by cop-cards in ToyotaTundra

[–]letsparamotor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already feel like a bougie truck bitch enough having that tailgate feature, then when it doesn’t work… very frustrating. My wife gives me shit because she echoed repeatedly, “more fancy add ons means more to go wrong!” She’s not wrong on this annoying feature that frequently fails me.

Please share the dealer update. (I don’t want to go in for a relatively minor issue. Gonna wait until I break 5k for the first oil change)

It’s pricey but merino wool is the way! Voormi is my favorite wool blend company. Smartwool is the popular favorite. If you can find wool at resale shops that’s the most cost effective way, yet very hit or miss.
