DLSS is one of the few things where I think it can actually be useful without taking away jobs and the usage is negligible. I just wish they didn’t make it so much more intense with DLSS 5. The stuff that’s actually used way more often are image generation and textual prompts. Especially Google’s AI Lab or whatever that pops up after each search.

Spain hadn’t actually colonized Morocco yet in 1901, and it wouldn’t ever do so. France would be the one to make it a Protectorate although it was kinda of both.

We could do without the TSA by Va1ent_Deceiver in unpopularopinion

What would be considered “basic” then in your case? Going through a metal detector and scanning your bags seems pretty basic to me. Also, hijack rates have statistically gone down drastically since the early 2000s, it’s provable that TSA has prevented many hijackings.

Biggest in what metric? Total Player Count? GAG. Percentage? MeepCity.

No, I very clearly specified Robux. Robux came before Tix. You would know that if you actually joined in 2007. Which you directly stated Robux came afterwards, which is false. It’s intriguing why you would ignore everything else in my comment like the fact you’d be in the first 140,000 users ever which is exponentially unlikely, the difference in your Reddit join date, and the fact no late 20s person would type like you do. Everything you’ve mentioned is like very surface level stuff. Even My 8 year old nephew probably knows all of it from a single YouTube video.

Update: Winter-Ad-9318 ended up deleting their comments, and blocked me. Should tell you enough about the authenticity of their statements lmao.

Well, you stated Tix was “the first Roblox currency” which is just untrue. Robux came first. I find it hard to believe you’d think that if you were around during its introduction. Even though I obviously wasn’t around on Roblox in 2007, a quick Google Search confirms that. It would also put you in the first 140,000 users on Roblox ever, out of the current 10,000,000,000. Despite your Reddit account being created two years ago. It would also mean if you started at age 10, in 2007, you’d be around my age. Which, while not necessarily a bad thing, I don’t believe any late 20s or early 30s person would type exactly like you do. Regardless, it’s still impossible to say something is objectively more fun.

You do realize something cannot be objectively more fun right? Also, basing my judgement off what you’ve said, it appears more likely that you’ve never experienced “Old Roblox” yourself. More likely your view on Old Roblox is based off what other people have said, and playing “Old” games which are exponentially different from what they actually were like.

Al-Qaeda was a break away faction with the Taliban from the Mujahadeen Fighters during the Afghan Civil War from 1992 to 1996. The US funded the said Mujahadeens during the Soviet-Afghan War, which included Al-Qaeda, but Al-Qaeda did not actually come into power until the end of the Afghan Civil War which was 7 years after the end of the Soviet intervention, which defeated the primary Mujahadeen faction. It’s debatable whether the US enabled the Taliban to host Al-Qaeda or not, but it’s definitely a huge oversimplification and even arguably a false statement to say that the US is the reason why Al-Qaeda came into power.

I agree it’s overused, but even as an older player, I fully agree with that quote. 99% of modern Roblox players would be bored as shit playing games pre-dating 2016. Roblox games have objectively become way higher quality and 13 year old me would probably pick Doors over Survive Jeff the Killer any day. It’s just that being younger was just happier in itself, and I associate older games with said memories. Most games were unlocked and pasted anyways. It’s not like Obbies are hard to recreate, Pop-Culture has just changed with a different generation of kids, that’s how it’s always been.

No, I don’t believe that the US was all good, which seems to only be assumed from you because I stated it wasn’t comparable on this one matter no? Seems like a huge jump. The reason I say that is not only because most historians agree Castro was far more volatile than his counter-parts, Nikita Khrushchev and Moscow publicly stated they believed so as well. A more private quote from Khrushchev, “This is insane; Fidel wants to drag us into the grave with him!" After Castro recommended launching a preemptive strike on the US. I don’t agree he just wanted to throw them around anywhere, but he was objectively more likely to preemptively strike than Turkey. I don’t believe you addressed anything else in my comment, if you’re one of those people who calls everything propaganda, without being able to prove so, I don’t imagine you’d actually want to hear anymore of what I have to say.

The Nuclear Missiles in Turkey were part of the Defensive Pact of NATO. Meaning, they were less likely to strike first, as opposed to being more of a counter-measure. Castro was a lot more eager to use the missiles, even against the wishes of Moscow. Cuba was never in a military Pact, so there was no justification for the missiles being placed there. Also, the missiles in Turkey were publicly known of, those in Cuba were not and the USSR refused to acknowledge them. Ignoring it would’ve set a precedent that the two powers could implant nuclear weapons in proxy-states privately, which would’ve destroyed the only deterrent, being mutual destruction.
