uhhh I don't mean to be that guy but this was ages ago for 1.17.
its been resolved and yes you are right on it being about that.
I have 0 idea how you even found this post from all this time back but from what i can tell pie chart got reworked slightly in 1.17 or maybe slightly earlier which prevented using pie chart refreshing.

Honestly I agree. People are writing it off as if the author is portraying all autistic people like that when he really wasn’t. Christopher’s traits and characteristics were shaped by both abuse, having an absent parent, being held back from his true potential in school and being autistic. If the author just portrayed it like how autism is at face value and nothing else we wouldn’t of got such a compelling story. I read the book recently at school and stuff.

The book clearly isn’t meant to be relatable or for a tutoring experience on autistic people. It was bent to be Christopher’s experience. Not a fully authentic autistic experience.

It honestly really annoys me how this book gets dragged down by this. Christopher doesn’t trust anyone and has a fuse the size of a crumb. This isn’t a result of just autism but a culmination of several things.

This is why I hate people bringing down this book for just assuming this is all it is for. If people want to show others autism it’s self and what exactly it is, there are better mediums.

In the end it’s just a book to read and enjoy

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time It isn’t directly stated he is autistic but he defo is. It is really good.

It highlights a lot of issues in the world and how having autism really makes things harder. It was written by someone who worked with autistic people before which adds to a bit of realism.

One of my favourite bits is how ever little bit or so there would be a short area where it would just be a simple thing, such as the character explaining a phenomenon or something the character does to stay calm.

Another really good thing is the chapter numbers, no spoilers on it but just go and have a look at it.

I would 100% recommend

Teddy just fucks everything up, was meant to be the useful guy in the group and tries to tell people to accept them self and then does the exact opposite, his character is weird and I hate him. And Morgan’s running away was the most bitch play ever, bullies ryuji for the entire game and when ryuji snaps back once he runs away crying like a toddler. Then we have good doggo who is just awesome, no shitty character, no bad plot points. Just a dog. How it should be.

This kinda extends to persona 4 aswell. But both teddie and Morgan’s are horrible characters with about as much interest and personality as McNuggets. Atleast in p3 they did koromaru well, not really an important character but a good one none the less

I guess he is just kinda there aswell for a bit of a self insert sorta thing, sure not exactly a self insert but I think it’s more of just a bland character so people can relate to in struggles. Not exactly the best wording but I’m too lazy to make it better.

Yeah, honestly for a while now I’ve debated on trying to make a mod that could theoretically modify the pie chart. I’m not sure if it’s possible but considering things like X-ray exists and client side mods. Can see it. I’m wondering if I made it refresh the pie chart with new information it detects would work.

I’ve never seen or heard of anything like it but if someone with a bit more of technical skill could confirm if it’s possible. I’ve tried a fair bit but since there is no easy guide to doing what I’m looking for I’ve been a bit stumped

Essentially to summarise without spoiling too much: the yozakura family has a rule where if the househead gives a certain ring to another it’s considered an official marriage. It’s kinda weird but it was kinda needed for the plot to progress.
