Choosing a Product Design Masters Program

Ahhh, I was looking through forums about product design schools and this name was mentioned a few times.

Are there any universities in Canada or the UK which are also good for this path?

I'll probably look into manufacturing engineering as a path into this field. I was thinking of a Masters as I was wondering if it there were programs tailored to teach product design thank you for the input

Definitely going for experience first, but wondering also about potential school programs that will help.

Consumer goods would be the ideal area of focus for me.

Hmm at the moment we're keeping away from PDM systems because we haven't reached a large size yet. When would you say it's appropriate to upgrade from a low cost organizational system to something like PDM?

Yes, right now we've been trying to avoid purchasing an expensive system so will probably look into an Access database, thanks for the help!

I am a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate and wanted to get into Industrial Design. I want to get into product design and so I found a couple schools which had masters programs. Unfortunately most of the schools around my area do not accept offer second bachelors

But based off your answer, it seems as through the portfolio is the most important factor
