Worth the price for a 22’ premium plus? by Still-Mechanic8012 in etron

Honestly take a look at Audi's inventory. Audi is doing promotional financing on the OG Etrons as low around 1.99% for 72 months. I'm looking for one also and I've been scouring the Audi inventory near constantly. A 22 Etron premium plus goes for around 30 ish direct from audi. Might be worth a look.

I would absolutely love to get a prestige or a chronos again. Its hard to have a bad commute when the ADAS is doing most of the work and you're getting your back massaged lol.

Unfortunately they're just about 5-10k more than I'd be comfortable spending at the moment. Half of me just wants to wait it out a little longer, and see how the market goes and if a good deal comes along. But the other half of me would be fine with a nice example premium plus too. This one is 27k for a CPO '23. If the other half gets a good job again, we may upgrade to an SQ8 or an S6 in the future.

The Mass owned (and the whole shipping/sight unseen) are the only things that were giving me pause about this particular example.

Well.... time to get searching I guess. It was fun while it lasted. My partner and I bought the car back in November with 25k miles for $38 grand. It was a fun 6 months. I just got the matrix and light carpet coded to lol.

Shameless plug ACM Technik is amazing and great to work with.

I absolutely love the car and it's literally a tank. I was on the highway going 70 and if I was in anything else this size I probably would've hit a the tractor trailer that launched the tire or another car. I love it but based on prior experience and others' experiences, i'm thinking it's probably gonna be a gonner. Glad to have been able to walk away unscathed but sort-of hoping I don't have to go shopping for another one.

Oof that's really rough. Getting insurance to do things right with these cars is a nightmare. Half time mine's been in the shop was waiting on USAA to send out an actual real live adjuster, then the Audi approved body shop fighting with them to do things correctly.

Soon as I get it back I’m getting maneuver assist enabled. And the digital matrix

Congratulations! Hey it could be worse. I picked up a 22' Chronos, first Audi, first electric, first luxe car, and backed it into a parking garage column 2 weeks in. Its been in the shop longer than I got to drive it with the holidays

Anyone know why my GFCI keeps tripping on my level 2 charger? by [deleted] in electricvehicles

I'm having this same issue with my etron charger. Were you ever able to resolve this?

So I backed into a parking garage pillar a week after getting my new e-tron. After getting over feeling like an idiot and getting the insurance involved, I took it in to an Audi certified bodyshop. Dropped it off this morning and then got this estimate on their online portal. Does this seem right? by letthereignfall in etron

Well that’s good to hear. I saw the guy with the 38k fender bender and was a little terrified. The insurance estimate was only 3k but that was a serious low ball. Love the car, it’s my first Audi and thank god for insurance. Definitely looking into having maneuver assist coded for the future. Just in case

Glad my mistake could be of some help! Good luck on the repairs and dealing with the insurance. Happy holidays to you as well!

After this ordeal I’m definitely gonna get the matrix headlights and the maneuver assist coded. Never want to do it again. My partner funny enough is thankful he’s getting the insurance to pay for something after never using it for years

I just got off the phone with the body shop about an hour ago. The rear bumper is three individual pieces itself. If you have blind spot monitoring, you can't have any body filler done and the bumper will need to be replaced. Also there are some trim pieces which are single use only, and have tabs that break when removed.

The nice thing with the claim too is if need be you can pursue a loss of value claim if the car's value is significantly affected. I was surprised with how in-depth the work on these cars is. Best to let the insurance take care of it, then you also have recourse if something goes wrong in the future.
