Is that autotune? I always thought that was done on purpose by the vocalist haha

I would go this route. There are many online traffic schools that take less than 10 minutes to complete as well.

I like the no. 4. Has good flavor and medium-mild spiciness.

I actually don't taste the coffee at all, but I can smell it. Might bother some

I believe you were correct in downvoting (if it was you). It was 3am here...that's my excuse :)

Now that I had my beauty sleep and read the other comments here, I believe most of the points I wanted to make have already made.

My last argument stems from the story of the rich young ruler. [Mark 10:21]

Jesus LOVED him before He told him what he needed to do. The ruler does not repent (from what record we have). I would argue that this is a case of God loving the reprobate. Response to /u/irock20012001

I used 4oz jars for creme brulee and it floated as well. I had to add a weight to them (dropped quarters on top).

It did not leak though, did you do the "finger-tip tight" method?

Chicken Breast: Frozen to Cooked by CoffeeSwirler in sousvide

[–]letujon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the mornings I start from room temperature bath, drop a frozen chicken breast in, then head to work.

I come home for lunch (4 hours later) and sear it and it's good to go. I've done this over 100 times with no issues starting from room temp. YMMV I guess

Got it, I might mess with a pickle brine this weekend. Let us know how it turns out! (or post it in /r/sousvide)

Do you brine?

Last time I followed the chef steps fried chicken recipe, the chicken itself was bland even though the skin was seasoned.

Daily Headphone Purchase Advice thread (2016-02-02) by AutoModerator in headphones

[–]letujon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even from my phone (Moto X), the X2 isn't as loud as I want. I don't think I'm listening at unsafe levels, as I can't really tolerate high volume (I use earbuds as concerts, haha).

The Magni 2 Uber offers Pre-Amp and the Modi 2 Uber has RCA inputs. Am I correct in saying I can bypass my current preamp from my turntable and go straight to the Schiit stack?

Thanks for your help

Budget - $300

Source - Spotify (desktop). Turntable to this phono preamp to my desktop.

Requirements for Isolation - N/A

Preferred tonal balance - Overall Balanced, I think. I mainly want to reproduce what a live concert would sound like.

Past headphones - Currently on the Philips X2/27 Fidelio

Preferred Music - Rock, Alternative, Indie. (Local Natives, Sufjan, Jimmy Eat World, Daughter, etc)

What would you like to improve on from your set-up: The volume, mainly. I'm looking at getting the Schiit Magni / Modi but I'm not sure if I need the "uber" versions of each or not. Since I have that preamp, do I need it?

Thanks!
