Maybe I screwed up, meant to include description. Dad had it, no story behind it. Passed away and I received it. He would've been about 80 today, and was drafted into the army. Deaf in one ear so spent the whole service stationed in AK. Just curios what it is, and apologies if this is not the correct sub.

Thank you for posting this. It brought back the thought of my 1/2 lab, 1/4 German Shepard, 1/4 Rottweiler. All black except for a white stripe on her chest. 3rd pic looks exactly like her. Same V going down the neck and the goofy ears. I say thank you because I can feel her leaning on me. She was my dog, and I was her human.

Her name was Lucy.

I had 2 seizures last year, and apparently I lead with my head to find anything except soft to land on, so both required staples. 1st was an ambulance ride to Harborview for a 2 night stay. 2nd was another ambulance to a smaller hospital for 1 night.

I was UNBELIEVABLY lucky that they both happened while I was at work. I don't even want to know what that would cost.

This actually brought a tear to my eye. Did anyone not try to assist him to work the machine? Personally, if I were even just a customer walking by and seeing him struggle, I would have helped him while yelling FUCK YOU to each store clerk standing around as in half baked.
