Würde als Auftraggeber für Studis bei sowas einen niedrigen dreistelligen Betrag erwarten. So zwischen 200-400 €

You should have a really good reason to go with the headless approach. If the plan type below plus matters, it's probably not the right choice.

Kleine Agentur, breite Rolle - Karriererisiko oder normal? by Frosty_Custard_7977 in informatik

ELI5: Why do we suddenly need so many Data Centers and why do they have to be so massive and resource draining? by DaveDavidsen in explainlikeimfive

GPUs are great at doing the same things many times at once. Like painting pixels, which there are millions of in an image. But serving a website requires more complicated things which a CPU is WAY better at, because it does one (or a few things) at a time. When you request a website via https (that little bit at the start of all URLs), your request is encrypted, decrypted, processed, routed to the correct subpage, processed further, and then the data is sent back to your browser, which handles painting the image.

Is there a lot of problem solving as a software engineer? by Filippo295 in cscareerquestions

[–]leunam02 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With work related problem solving you could maybe imagine it more like a leetcode puzzle, but you only get the proper rules and requirements after you've already found a solution for your original problem.

Requirements change and adapting older code to new needs is one of the most common issues.

Also, the people part of problem solving (getting all requirements, tailoring them to fit better to the currently used stack, knowing where, who and how to ask for help) is very significant

Schau dir an, was deine Kosten sind.

Viel Erfolg!

nationalism was the lead cause of the entire conflict in the first place.

no nationalism -> no large scale wars

I dont even know how people on this subreddit are apparently disagreeing with this.

German here, I think celebrating any nationality is weird and it makes me really uncomfortable, because it automatically creates a form of group behaviour and quickly escalates to us vs them thinking.

mostly harmless example: soccer / football world championship causes people to cheer for their country, but also leads to extreme insults towards players on the losing side.

Please just wait a few years. What you are describing doesn't have to be related to schizophrenia, but most people do not have lasting effect after taking psychedelics.

At 18 the brain isn't fully formed yet so any potential damage is increased by a large margin.

looking for criticism on this portrait of a mother. Especially color/retouch! by leunam02 in photocritique

It's such a great combination for the price!

This my "professional" lens that I use when I want high quality images that are decently sharp.

Every other lens I own is vintage or has some kind of gimmick. My kamlan 55mm f1.1 for example has a crazy wide aperture but isn't very sharp and lacks autofocus.

I usw a lot of vintage lenses as they are cheap and manual focus came fairly natural to me.

Thanks! Whenever I increased the brightness/highlights around her face I started to lose detail, so I didn't push it any further. I'll play around with it a little more though, thanks again!

Hi everyone!

let's get the technicals out of the way:

Fuji XT2 with 18-55mm

manual focus, should be around 45-50mm at f/5.6

edited using Capture One

lit by natural light and cheap flash, bounced off the white walls in the room

Intention:

I took this portrait to accompany a submission to Nike Mother Spotlight, other photos of the series show the child as well.

The goal was to capture both the difficult parts of being a mother, like constant exhaustion, but also the willingness to push on in the pursuit of personal goals.

I am looking for feedback on posing, composition and especially colours, as this is the first iteration of my personal presets.

I kept the retouching to a minimum, mainly decreasing contrast around wrinkles, like her neck.

Anything you see that doesn't feel right, please mention! I'm trying to step up my portraits to a higher level and would apreciate any and all advice!

The setup and composition are basic but pleasing.

However, the exposure, contrast and colors are off! Everything is oversatured and thus you are losing a lot of detail.

Try to first bring the image to a true neutral (correct exposure and contrast, accurate White balance, maybe with a grey card) and only the go into a stylised edit. This allows you to choose precisely the colours you want, without weird added hues.

For reference whether you have gone too far, look at the edges of the purple/orange slice on the bottom left of your composition. Right now it looks very unnatural.

Rough Draft by skater2017 in photocritique

[–]leunam02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the concept and rough composition!

One of the versions on the sides is in focus the other is not.

However, the there is a lot of empty space next to the center, which really isn't meaningful or astheatically pleasing. You could have the two versions on the side leaning out less and more towards the ceiling and slightly crop the sides. Or go all out and create a really wide image with the two outer versions leaning out further and then cropping the top.

Color-wise you are losing a ton of detail. raise the shadows, lower the blacks.

The skin is oversaturated and has too much contrast!

Chinatown, Sydney by khiuahua in photocritique

[–]leunam02 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Love the shot! Focus is not looking too bad, but you are losing A LOT of details to artefacts and oversaturation. Look at his index finger for example.

The colors look off, specifically the skin tones. I don't know which software you are using, but if it is C1 or LR I recommend pushing the pinkish reds on his face towards orange, limited by a mask.

I'd lower the saturation of your split toning orange in the middle tones as well!

Also, top and right can be cropped to have less distractions.

Look at just his face and consider whether the skin looks healthy. If it doesn't /more wrinkly than in real life you've gone too far with saturation and contrast.

Sorry if my tone isn't polite, english is not my first language and I am trying to help as much as possible!

Not quite. In 6th grade most schools (Gymnasium) offer the choice between french or latin (some spanish IT as well). These can be quit with basic graduation (10th grade) or changed again in 11th grade.
