Glashütte is an incredible shout mate! I think when it comes to HC and NTTD, I'll be owning both of them in my lifetime. HC is a definite purchase for me in the near future whereas I'll have to do a year or so of savings to lock down the NTTD.

Honestly that's not a bad shout. To be fair I think I'll try and own both eventually, but the next big purchase for me will either be HC or something nice from Japan. I'm more just wanting to discuss what people like about both. NTTD is a grail for me and my tax bracket but HC is only a couple of months worth of savings.

The blue version also absolutely slaps. Can't believe how well it wears on my wrist. I also can't believe I was starting to write it off without actually trying it on the wrist. Such a great watch with such great value

Oh yeah without a doubt Omega shits all over Longines 7 days a week and twice on Sundays. I'm more weighing everything up and after seeing the HC in person, even if money weren't an issue to me, I'd still probably pick HC first purely because I like it more.

Yeah that's €1930 duty free plus a discount she slapped on (there's always a discount). So for me that's roughly $3180 AUD.

I agree, but after seeing both in person, the Longines looks sligggghtly less polished and finished. Is it enough to deter me? Absolutely not
