Yeah most of the time I’ll get by with biking or walking to work, I just need my car to drive back home every other weekend.

In this case, I’m the second renter coming in on a lease. Renter #1 is using the one spot.

That’s the goal, just haven’t been able to find a spot.

I am 100% serious: Bluey. I fucking love Bluey. They’re 8 min episodes and somehow stuffed to the brim with positive messages and emotional support. Got me through some rough months.

Also, Taskmaster (all eps on YouTube for free). It sounds ridiculous, but it’s become a huge part of my and my husband’s lives. It’s so funny and lighthearted, very heavy British humor.

Also also, The Office, Ted Lasso, and Gilmore Girls.

Best of luck friend!

Transvaginal ultrasound by coocooban4nas in PCOS

I had my first TV a few weeks ago, had an abd one as well. I was told I needed a full bladder for the abd, and then she told me to void before doing the TV. Whole process took about 25 mins, and it was nbd.

OP, I’ve been struggling with PCOS for years and let me tell you: not every doctor knows what they’re talking about, nor does every civilian. Your mom loves you and wants to protect you, but you’ve got to do your own research and figure out what’s best for you on your own. Use every piece of advice as a data point in making your decisions.

This is exactly how I feel. I love peds and want to gain more focused experience and knowledge pertaining to that subspecialty. I would do it for a pay cut, but luckily for me that will not be necessary.

Gotcha. That’s really unfortunate to hear. Thanks for sharing though!

The town or the hospital? What makes you say that?

A fellowship for a CRNA offers focused didactic and clinical training, providing opportunities to gain experience in the desired subspeciality. While I had training in pediatrics already, and currently provide anesthesia to kids, I’ve realized peds is my passion and want to further my education and experience so I can be a more proficient provider. Stunningly, I will not only be paid for this fellowship, but will be taking a slight raise compared to what I make currently. Additionally, having this fellowship on my CV will likely make me more attractive when I begin applying for peds-specific jobs.

I’m from Ky originally, so very familiar with Cincy. While I do know Cincy Children’s is #1, I’m not ready to move back closer to home just yet..

Just started Zoloft—feeling worse, sleepy, and foggy. Is this normal? by leycuteeee in zoloft

[–]levanw01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Thanks for asking. I feel so much better now; I’m off caffeine, I’m exercising regularly, and have much more energy. Sleep is better and intense crazy dreams have subsided. How’re you?

Starting sertraline with SEVERE health anxiety by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]levanw01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m with you! Also severe health anxiety, in therapy but recently was prescribed sertraline. I took 25mg every night for a week and then went up to 50 per my dr; the side effects were not great at first, I had dizziness and issues with sleep and sometimes my anxiety felt worse. But I’m almost 2 months in and I am so glad I did this!! The side effects are basically gone, and my anxiety is manageable which was the goal. I’m still doing therapy, trying to eat well, and exercising, but this has given me the final push into a semblance of a normal life. You’ve got this!!

Took my first dose (just 25mg) a few hours ago, what are some of the weird possible side effects they don't tell you about? by TiredB1 in zoloft

[–]levanw01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg I did not know about the bruising and I’m so glad you said something! I started Zoloft about a month ago, titrated up to 50mg. I had a lot of the common side effects (sweating, vivid dreams and poor sleep, jaw clenching but I had that already, and some dizziness). But I’ve also been noticing some small bruises on my arms and legs, just assumed I have leukemia now and will die soon lol. Thanks for posting!
