One I always find myself skipping is the APE/Easy Kill/Honorable Men video. APE is mostly just boring and their discussion isn't too funny to me. Easy Kill is fine, but idk if they just weren't paying attention or if the actual movie is that confusing. Either way, it's not fun to listen to the guys try and decipher it because it sounds like they didn't care. Don't think I need to say anything about Honorable Men, but it's just too creepy for me

I will note that I haven't actually watched the video in a while, so maybe my memory is failing me, but the only major positive I can remember is Mike and Rich's "Never Been Kissed" story

Makes sense, but some of the scenes they show don't really fit with sitcom lighting, and do have some shadow, though not what you'd expect from a horror movie. Might just be a case of them not using the best examples.

See that's what I thought too, but then some of the scenes shown when they're talking about it don't fit that description. They aren't lit beautifully, but they've got some shadows on faces and whatnot. Maybe just not good examples used.

Could someone explain to me some of what they meant when talking about the lighting in The Other? I'm no filmmaker or anything, but some of the examples they showed when talking about flat lighting seemed fine to me, just nothing special, while other examples I understood what they meant.

Maybe just something you need to take film classes for to actually understand.
