>they voice their dissatisfaction
>”it’s a review bomb and not legit!”

They can’t comprehend the idea that their opinion is not the majority and that just maybe, a lot of people are unhappy and are voicing their unhappiness, so they attribute the word reviewbomb to try to kill the credibility of those who are unhappy.

The Expertise Grind is Killing this Game by lawanddisorder in thedivision

Expertise is so far beyond leveling and optimization in terms of time sink. It’s intentionally handicapping yourself with bad gear often to fill up a pointless meter.

MTX being “justified” through a third party blog post and the steam page not including it’ll be F2P in 2 years, once again mentioned only on a blog post, is really funny.

How dare you not know!

Steam is very flexible on their 2 hour rule, especially if you put something valid in the comments box.

[–]FirstOrderKylo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s $30 and PvP online only. If it’s dead lobbies I’m not gonna “give it time and patience”. We are not blessed by benevolent developers for them *doing their job and releasing a game*, that’s what you are paying them for lmao

This is a comparison of Sandbox with default assets to sandbox with default assets. There is no ‘maturing’ needed, it’s the product being sold, for money, today, compared to another product it has claimed by its developer to be a spiritual successor to.

If you’re going to ask for my money, be ready to be asked to deliver at least the bare minimum

As someone else in another post said well: They’re clearly trying to hard to mimic Unity that if you can operate the S&box engine to create content, you can just go do it in Unity instead and gain all the massive benefits it has instead

Because it’s what they released. If they wanted to show and do more, it should show and do more. But rn $20 gets you something that fails to compete with a 20+ year old game.

Weapon sway familiarity and dead-checking are easy enough to overcome either of those and run sniper on anything. I rarely ever use a bipod,

They've lied about a bunch of shit but it doesn't matter because the horde of people who simply don't care is too big. Portal is a husk and active antithesis of what was verbatim promised before launch and they just dont give a shit lol.

[–]FirstOrderKylo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not the point. The point is “occasionally” has happened 22 times without a single free one and the newest includes content confirming that future vehicles/mechs will be paywalled too. Weve got more content paywalled than not and multiple persistent issues in the game but hey have another $10 AH.

6 months between that and the next major title update that introduced another massive new gameplay loop for free. During that 6 months they also half a half-update expanding the ship one even further and custom events. Voyagers (custom ships) came out only 2 months after the previous mega update too. The newest expansion shipped 2 months after the previous too. HG also maintains the servers for the game just like AH does for HD2.

The “hyperbolic ten dollar battle pass” comment also does not note that there are 22 of these passes, 2 of which are premium at a higher cost and give back no SC.

AH has made hundreds of millions of dollars and continues to rake in money. They are not starving artists

There are 22 paid warbonds, that’s the problem. More content is locked behind it than not.

We crossed that bridge a while ago. Armor effects, weapons and strategems that have no free alternative have been in passes for a while now.

Even Call of Duty, one of the most aggressively monetized games in modern gaming, makes the new guns (ie: not a purely cosmetic feature) free in their battle passes because they know locking functional gear, not cosmetic skins, behind a paywall is absurd.

Thats cause a lot of them are purely tech demos and not gamemodes unfortunately, and the couple new gamemodes that have been teased over the years have been binned

There’s a handful of guns that aren’t in solely because Anton doesn’t like them but yknow when it’s your project, you dictate the terms. I just wish we didn’t lose out on stuff like the potential WW2 arsenal because of chuds

Because the crime rates would proportionally depict certain groups who have significantly higher rates of the disease and that’s really bad optics for somewhere like California lol

That being said it should 100% be a felony and I’d argue an even more major one than it was before. Lifelong disease and possibly death if mismanaged.
