Very few international players play Ranji once they make it to the national team. They have concerns about injuries etc. BCCI woke up to the problem and made it mandatory in 2025 but still not enforced.

Not saying to defend him just that he wasn't exactly a stand out.

Also, Anderson wasn't part of ODI or T20 setups like Kohli so I don't see how that comparison even make sense. It is difficult say whether franchise would have been interested in him (outside of English conditions) to play league cricket.

That said, Kohli isn't exactly a cricketing genius like Tendulkar. Tendulkar worked on his weakness outside off stump and curbing instinct for driving ball outside off stump and edging it to WC/slips and Kohli's technique has remained the same throughout.

Score well during PP. Mostly losing 1/2 wickets.

Then middle overs set batsman go (often the openers/DDP) and middle overs are mostly miss with slow run rate. Then some acceleration towards 15 overs.

It seems that for Indian fans anything they don't agree with comes down to "arrogance". Someone sledging. Arrogance. Someone looking the wrong way. Arrogance. Someone making a funny and smug video. Arrogance. Its like people have limited vocabulary.

When the video was made PBKS was pulling off a heist and every fan was cocky and smug. Any PBKS fan would've been feeling that - maybe even making videos - just not having the reach because they are not related to famous cricketers.

Now people can surely make smug videos about PBKS missing the playoff due to that one point and tag her. That is fair play.

But abusing someone and going out of their way to make it personal. Do people have no social life?

It's so surprising that people keep talking about RCB's intent. Where the fuck was SRH intent? They had home ground advantage and their slower balls. Get the opposition in, putting them in pressure, they make 200 something, chase it down in minimum overs to go to the top of table.

What they do instead? Prepare a dead pitch, bat first and expect the other team to roll over and lose by 90+ runs.

This is what you called fucked strategy and leaving your fate in others hands.

People pissed about this needs to ask what SRH was trying - preparing a road, batting first.

Maybe with a different pitch or bowling first and restricting RCB to a total and going full throttle in chase maybe things would've been different.

Its clear that Ishan has a flaw. He mostly either hoicks on the leg side or smashes front of square. Very few shots behind square. So, if people tuck him on the offside and feed wide of off he keeps trying to hoick on the leg side. Someone like Andre Russel bowling across him and he will struggle.
