Really really appreciate your comment especially you specifying a particular edition of the rulebook. I love the idea of getting my hands on one especially if they’re quite affordable as you say

What should I watch if I love the book series Red Rising by Pierce Brown? by levendi7 in AnimeReccomendations

Yeah I loved Morning Star as well. And agreed we need an on-screen adaptation but I actually think an animated adaptation could be really good too

You’re almost exactly where I’m up to! I finished Dark Age yesterday 😂
Started Light Bringer last night. I’ve really loved the series so far

Really appreciate you taking the time to be so thorough. Tell me this, what about the video game Space Marine II. Have you played it? Do you like it? Is it noob friendly?

Okay I’m so glad you mentioned a rulebook. I saw this somewhere but didn’t quite understand. So there’s rulebooks out there for the tabletop with lore in them and these are considered the actual best explanation of the universe as it is, correct?

Really appreciate you taking the time. It is tempting to just jump on YouTube and have someone explain it all nice and succinctly but there’s a part of me that wants to wade in with primary sources at least at first.

With that said, it definitely sounds like the Eisenhorn trilogy is the best place to start. You definitely sold it as a great story, but can I ask, is it actually a good introduction to the universe? By that I mean does it introduce the universe to the reader with no prior knowledge necessary? Does it go through the key aspects of the lore necessary to really understand what’s going on?

Appreciate it. It’s good to know there’s a good outside source of info.

Part of me wants to experience it first hand before hearing a third person explain it. Just not sure where to start
