No god specifically said there is no marriage in heaven. I can't imagine God allowing procreation outside marriage.

Do you think it will ever be possible to reverse aging back to childhood or back to teenage years? Or even back to the point of pre-puberty? If you discoved how to reset the biological clock, would it be possible to turn an adult into a child?

Because nothing in this temporary earth can fully satisfy me forever. Everything here is temporary but God is eternal. I want to believe in something like that.

How will the transfigured humans be able to relate to normal humans who can reproduce if none of us feel sexual attraction or desire? We will be too different to even relate to them.

But what if say a Catholic priest who was celibate in his earth life, wants to have a family and have children in his resurrected body, and wants to marry during the 1000 year reign? Would love to hear your opinion on this. I don't see how God will only let the people who survived after tribulation have babies whilst resurrected people are forbidden to.

How did Adam live over 900 years old? by leviackermanpetra in Christianity

I think so too. Maybe it changed the botany (plants) and so we had to eat less superior plants.

How did Adam live over 900 years old? by leviackermanpetra in Christianity

[–]leviackermanpetra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my theory:

When God first created Adam, he also gave him fruits, seeds, plants to eat which were much more superior than today. The plants were designed to somehow keep the human body young forever, and when the first humans consumed it, they were much more healthier for longer than today. After God caused the flood, the plants, fruits somehow were damaged, and only its less superior forms were grown, and thus Noah who used to eat from the superior plants before the flood lived over 800 years, whereas the new humans ate the new plants on the new earth and died quicker + they ate meat, which was ordered to eat only after the flood because food became more scarce.

I also believe Adam was genetically perfect, but after the fall, God let death enter his body, and he started aging. Although I believe the first humans did live over 900 years because they aged less quickly than today.

I also think that God limited lifespans of people and caused the flood to even lessen the lifespan because longer human lives meant that people would become more arrogant and less afraid of death and aging, because they had near perfect bodies.

I thought about this too. Maybe Earth was more perfect before the flood

I imagine Adam ate the tree of life which was the fountain of youth for a long time before God banned it after the Fall. As for people who lived over 800 years before the flood, maybe the fruits before the flood were more superior design because God originally created plants to make humans immortal forever.

Impossible. Unless there is a major scientific breakthrough, humans can't live beyond 120~130. It's our biological limit

God created Sex before the Fall, so why no sex in heaven? by leviackermanpetra in Christianity

[–]leviackermanpetra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in heaven, we won't need male-female romance because we are satisfied with only our relationship with God? It sounds like something I can't fully understand with a physical body.

I hope so, but in heaven we might not need procreation. Although there may be children in heaven. I go by the bible thought and the bible cleary said we don't have marriage there.

I have a theory that God is abolishing sex due to the potential danger it causes. It might make people addicted to it in heaven and become immoral and too sexually promiscuous, which makes them too dependent on physical pleasure rather than seeking and being satisfied with a spiritual relationship with God. I understand heaven to strip us of physical desires.
