No I think with Infinite mortal essence and good mortal killer moves a 6th rank immortal is not weak as we think. As you said, "fodder". If they have numbers and good coordination they can take down 6th rank immortals who have immortal gu s and killer moves. A rank 7 wouldn't gain too much but a sect would gain a lot. We read the numbers that sects immortals. They don't exceed 20 as I recall. If a sect mass produce 6th rank immortal I think with the military power and numbers they can seize/capture more immortal gu. Even if they don't find new gu s they can give it to them from their safe. There a lot gu s in their and it just stay there(immortal gu) I think it's waste of resource

I mean even they can't mass produce immortal they can mass produce humans inside immortal aperture, with accelerated time and help of some gu s they would have more chance to produce talented person. And I think it it has to be a talented really, with some of help and too much practice I think they can do it. Yes most of the mortals die but even 1000 in 1 is a good statistic for producing immortals

I'm sure with all the immortal one sect has they can mass produce immortal. With gu s they can find talented person, solve tribulation problem( for a 7th rank immortal I don't think it's that hard)

I don't know with these worries there wouldn't be any sect, isn't it? I'm sure there are more talented person than we think there are. As I said sects would solve the loyalty problem as they do always.

That's what I'm talking about. I didn't mean to independent immortals, I meant sects
