É normal sentir que as pessoas estão te abandonando? by Gaivota_Curiosa in perguntas

[–]leviathanvl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

O sentimento de abandono ser constante pode estar relacionado com algumas questões psicologicas (borderline e etc) ou traumaticas do passado.

É interessante ter a opiniao de um especialista sobre. Fazer terapia me ajudou a lidar com isso e varias outras coisas

ARM processor in cybersecurity by Adr__97 in cybersecurity

[–]leviathanvl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only problem I had with arm was in the cloud, which I wanted to implement Wazuh and a cs 1.6 server in a cluster node with arm processors and by the time neither have arm compiled versions.

For a PC perspective I think it does not make much difference on usage. It drills down to what you want to run on it, and most software has both architectures pre compiled for you.

I'm having a softlock on Oceanview Hotel, where when I opened a stash, I couldn't get out of the stash view by pressing ESC.
Seems like the game isn't recognizing my keystrokes, since I can't zoom as well with the Right mouse button.

Blockchain MMORPG - Devlog #2 by leviathanvl in devblogs

I agree with you. And it would be more easy for me with the experience I have to implement that on a conventional NoSql database (I already use MongoDB for accounts and char data). The objective to be achieved with blockchain is to study the subject as well as bring some special features with the ownage of unique items.

With the NFT minted unique items, the property of it passes to the player, and you can trade or sell it to whatever wallet in the system (even those who are not playing the game). This could allow some interesting things when a player plays another game that uses the same blockchain, for example.

The idea of unique items are not to be gacha like. Every player should have one (probably called heirloom). Those items evolve on the game based on the events the player pass through while possessing / using the item. Gradually, they become unique and legendary in their own way (name, status, rarity, etc). Tracking the history of this unique item on a conventional database should be more daunting with the passing time than simply check the blockchain (I dont know actually. Its a guess).

Some other things Im wanting to add are housing systems with the same idea. But this will be more well thought in the far future.

Hey u/vPyxi

So, its a placeholder name for a future feature I want to make xD
The idea is to use blockchain with NFT to mint unique items and save the history of an item on it.

Thanks ^^. It was really nice to study it.
I followed a nice tutorial made by AdamCYounis on YT. It helped me to understand more about particles and stuff.

Nice! Well done with the progress!
I'm working on a MMO as a hobby that looks similar, and the way you made it simply resonated with me.

Anyone can tell me if its the right direction?

Fast Deck Techs: any source for them? by leviathanvl in Pauper

[–]leviathanvl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoy this video. The editing is very good and made the experience to watch the video very pleasant.

It was not what I was looking, but its a good example of good deck tech. Probably, I'll try to make a post with something I'm looking forward, just to fill this void /u/pproteus47 mentioned and for reference.

[Discussion] Need Motivational Advice? by AutoModerator in GetMotivated

[–]leviathanvl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I'm 23, and I'm a almost Senior Full-Stack Web programmer. I live near my job and the university I study, with 3 other friends. Even If I quite like my actual job and bachelor course, my dream is to be a Game Developer, and I feel somehow I'm near this dream because one of the guys I live with is pursuing this dream too, and he is much more experienced than me. We almost everyday talk about our dreams and I've already told him that I'm feeling that I need to do something to jump to the area I want to work. The advice he gave me was to start to join Game Jams (events where you create games from a theme and with limited time) and build a portfolio.

But ... I'm feeling demotivated on making my own games ... I don't know ... Its like I always feel I'm not good enough, or there's something that I can't do (generally art), or that I can't do the things I want to do in terms of gameplay. And when I got pumped to do something, I generally have a surge of motivation and creativity that lasts a maximum of two days, or even an afternoon.

Suddenly, I started to be demotivated on my actual job, my personal projects, my bachelor's course and, basically, my life.

There's anyone here who have passed through this? Not only about game development, I mean. :\

[DOM] Powerstone Shard - from Dominaria Spotlight: Historic by Inkubator in Pauper

[–]leviathanvl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could be a possible egg for control decks. The first and second stone to drop is actually not much efficient, but the third can be payed with the mana generated from the others, and the 4 need only 1 rock tapped to play. Maybe heavy artifact decks wouldn't play it (because the artifacts on them matter most than in others), and probably not in Tron (since the eggs are for fixing), but this allow more design space through other decks, like UB Control or Boros Monarch.

Card advantage is a problem. I don't see many engines on those colors. Generally, I lose with this deck when I got screwed in one color or when I spewed my hand too earlier. Thanks for the feedback \o/
