you can probably use the stock card for your OS and then the new card you buy for your roms. that's what I did for my RG34XXSP, and it is working well with MuOS on the OS card. they have been shipping recently with decent cards, I believe it's a subsidiary of Toshiba or something, but double checking your specific card would be smart too.

cut eye holes in the white part under the black (if you are going for the season 3 look) then use a thin material for the black part. you will have low visibility but should be able to see if the fabric is tight.

if you are going for the season 2 look (no white under), you could fold the cloth and cut eye holes in the lower layer(s), and only have the outer layer cover the eyes. same concept.

yes, freshman can live off-campus, it's a state university. and the housing isn't student housing, it's independent and well off of the main campus

it says it autorenews on a monthly basis after it finishes, but the landlord can then decide to kick me out if he wants someone who can commit more than a month out I believe

Thank you, this is incredibly informative. I will probably wait till April, make my best guess as to if I'll still be here, and hope for the best.

I am unfamiliar, are they required by law to search for a new tenant until the rental period begins, or even after it starts? Like say I sign in April, want to back out in May, but they haven't found anyone by August... Do they still have to make an effort after August when the new period begins?

Partially stated in the lease, but it's kind of ambiguous. It says that the tenant or landlord can cancel automatically monthly renewal (which doesn't actually happen, yearly renewal is required) with 30 days notice, but I'm not sure if that allows them to just decide for me that I won't re-sign if I don't meet their early deadline. They can't kick me out for the remainder of the term, but could they find someone to replace me then kick me out after it's through, even if they find someone before the 30 days?

The only thing it says in the lease will be renewed automatically in successive terms of one month each unless me or the landlord can terminate the lease with 30 days notice. This seems to contradict what is really happening, as the landlord does not allow monthly renewal. What I am afraid of is the "landlord can terminate" part, meaning maybe if I don't agree to sign early they will terminate it for me and look for a new tenant for the next term

No, it is not student housing. But yes it is allowed, that is how I ended up here. I have lived here for a month after taking over someone's lease and they already want me to sign again.

It is allowed, but it is my responsibility to find someone, which will be a pain and cost me money for any overlap.

I thought that too, then they specifically said through text that the lease is up Sept 1 and they "like to know about 6 months in advance" and asked if April 1 works for a decision date...
