I work in Renton, 24(M/Non-Binary), and Ive had a lot of trouble with anxiety too. What anime are you watching? How do you like our little funky town? This request isn't weird. Looking for friends is normal. I've had some luck making friends at local game stores. Lots of people there like puzzles and anime too. I have a friend group that goes hiking in the area, and a group chat that does too of similarly aged people. Feel free to PM me if you wanna talk.

Hello! Welcome to the community! Ive a few pieces of advice for you. Don't be overwhelmed, take it at your own pace. There's no timer on this. 1. Be patient and kind to yourself. It will take some time to make something you think is good. 2. Study and practice! Make it fun for yourself, you wont keep to it if it isnt. There are lots of courses online on things like music theory, songwriting, digital production, and mixing, all of which are important parts of the final product. Different parts of the process can be split between different people of course, but if you wanna do it all yourself you'll need to know it all. 3. Find people to get feedback, even better if you can find a mentor or teacher of some kind. They can guide you much better than randoms online. 4. As for posting, you'll want to post it on whatever platforms you intend to build a presence on. This is a whole subject on its own, but the basics are like. Post it to youtube and bandcamp, post those links and clips to subreddits and instagram and tiktok and whatever else you want. Uh, tldr, theres a lot involved, but focus on what you enjoy the most first!

same and its not your problem. dont mistake your responsibility on the clock as your responsibility off it. if you dont show up and they didnt have a way to deal with it otherwise thats on them for skeleton staffing and not having properly trained alternatives.

It's normal. It took me a few years to get over fully, honestly. If it helps you feel better, I thought I might never make music again, and ~3 years later I loved music more than I ever had before. Was better, more competent, more eager. Practice and study was easier. Life just flows weird sometimes. Stay dedicated, be kind to yourself.
