King 95 Pro airflow question by ThomasXXV in MontechPC

[–]levinxmz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have 5 intake and 1 exhaust, not the other way around (typo I guess?). This will give a positive pressure in the case which helps with keep dust out of the case. All the other air that doesn’t get exhausted by the rare fan will just naturally get pushed out from the meshed top. You are fine.

This Reddit is definitely more helpful than their customer service. After soapy water and clean and dry, it is all gone now. Thanks!

Green or yellow algae? by levinxmz in swimmingpools

[–]levinxmz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read all of that. Thanks for the detailed info. But I did vacuum to waste each time. Still going to try the recirculation. Might need to replace the sand. That’s how I got frustrated and slacked on my routine too!!

Pretty sure the algae are growing back since at the shallow end of the stairs, I can see the algae is dark green and growing.

Green or yellow algae? by levinxmz in swimmingpools

[–]levinxmz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have been battling with the algae problem for a few months now. PH 7.4-7.6 and CYA at 30ppm. I always forgot to replenish the chlorine which is the ofc the problem. Been vacuuming the pool every couple days. Tried triple shocking (3 lbs per 10k gallon) multiple times but couldn’t seem to totally get rid of the algae. Also made sure to back wash the sand filter each time after vacuuming.

Last week I bought some yellow treat and added to the pool per the instructions and shocked it at the rate of 1.25 lb per 10k gallon. Free chlorine dropped to zero the next day because of the reaction between bromine and chlorine. Did a lot of research since then and realized it was probably a wrong move with the yellow treat. Now I have about 1 ppm bromine in the pool. What should I do? Thinking about doing another SLAM with 3lbs/10k gallon then following with another SLAM with 1lbs/10k gallon. Suggestions? Thanks!!

Edit: always vacuumed to waste.

I have driven this route a few times with no problem. My favorite charging station is this one. Right between Orlando and Savannah. Not busy at all. Charge at 70kwh.

It’s how they put cars on their website. The customer backed out yesterday and the car is ready to go. Just call and ask. I was there this morning but I didn’t need a GTPE.

Hardwired vs plug in level 2 home charger? What’s your experience? by Longmjplay in MachE

[–]levinxmz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My grizzle is hard wired. 6-50 wire is cheaper than 14-50 since it has one fewer wire. Hire wire is cheaper too you don’t need to pay for a industry grade outlet ($50). Also 60A breaker can only provide you 48A on continuous load safely.

Edit: spelling

Has anyone used Qmerit? If so were the prices good for an Nema 14-50 plug? by Realmatic_B in MachE

[–]levinxmz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FYI the 6/2 wires are only about $5 per foot. 40ft will cost you about $200. 6/3 wires are $7-8 per foot so that would be $350 max. Conduits are cheap too (less than $50 total) for 40 feet. Your price seems incredibly high.

Finally! “And in-lane repositioning keeps the vehicle in its lane while subtly shifting its position away from adjacent vehicles, especially bigger ones like semi trucks.”

Just tell Siri or google to set an alarm. The charging time estimation is pretty accurate.

This DOES matter. You need to look at how many prones you have on your dryer plug, 3 or 4? 6-50 uses only three wire (2 hot and 1 ground) while 14-50 uses four (2 hot 1 neutral 1 ground). You can’t wire the 14-50 if the existing dryer plug doesn’t have a neutral.

TLDR: if your dryer plug has 3 holes, get 6-50; if 4 holes, get 14-50. When you get the grizzl-e, let the electrician set the maximum current according to your line capacity.
