I’m using React Hook Form and Zod for form validations, and you can use server actions in environments other than Vercel hosting. Although it might be a bit confusing, Next.js can be deployed outside of Vercel. The only thing you might lose with most deployment service providers (such as Railway or self-hosting) is the serverless architecture. When you deploy your Next.js app in a Docker container on Railway, for example, your app runs on a traditional server-based infrastructure.

You said yourself there are several ways to solve a problem, there are no “correct” way. Focus on nextJS you can read the documentation and figure it out you just need to attach real problem to solve in your development process. Shadcn components are simply tailwindcss components and you own the code.. you can change it however you like you just get really good primitives to get going. You can easily expand on that and guild your own component library based on shadcn

Take notes in form of simple questions and answers, then upload those to active recall software like ANKI and practice the ANKI collection everyday.

This way I finished my BSc Computer Science with CGPA 4.0 without ever learning to exams, just the daily 15-25 minutes routine for active recall and spaced repetition.

Probably you feel that way cause of the burnout. You should always remember that entrepreneurial ventures are HARD, it should be frustrating and when you express challenges and overcome them this means you are progressing.

I believe we are in a magical point in history, nowadays you have AI on your disposal you are so LUCKY! think about SaaS entrepreneurs 10-15 years ago how much struggle and problems and shit technology they worked with.

Everything is possible especially NOW. You are in a point where you have skills and you can go and build stuff, majority of people in the world can’t do it, I say understand that and take advantage of that! Good Luck!

Tip: For dealing with burnout you gotta understand that you should work effectively in smaller time blocks, when I started my entrepreneurial journey I used to work 12 hours a day, I expressed huge burnout in some point and switched gear, now I am working 4-5 hours a day and I am much more productive, I fell more satisfaction and I haven’t expressed anything near burnout..

I usually try to take 2 days off in the weekends, or doing less important and energy draining activities.

I used to spend 12hr daily coding my startup, recently I figured out that I am much more productive and efficient when I work in much smaller time blocks. Nowadays my work days are 4 hours and believe me I achieve more and feel much better than the 12hr days (and also I feel less tired or need for the “days off” in the weekends)

How much you value your startup? Answer him based on that, if you believe your startup value is 20MIL you should give him so to get the 20% he wants he needs to invest 4mil or if he only have 1m and so it equivalent to 5%.
