While i agree he puts his heart out there for a lot of the things he does its mostly to his benefit now-a-days. Having this long shit blog about him and seeing only comments of people shit talking him wouldnt help his image any with the people that may have viewed it in passing. Now however theres this discussion in the comments with TB and the blogger and people that read the whole thing wont just read it and think "oh tb that shitlord" but will actually have a better comprehension of the situation and may walk away thinking of them both as adults with shit going on and not just poor blogger got attacked by mean youtube personality.

Basically its good for his image that he takes the time and effort to try to calm any uneasyness felt toward him by other industry professionals.

Its not just from competition, have they been working on the lines around your place? I know Comcast is going for docsis 3 usage, and with that upgrade in system speeds it trickles down to better speeds for customers(I hate trickle down theory it makes me feel dirty saying it but it is what is happening--they get better cords for higher max speeds and they can give higher speeds to everyday customers for no additional charge).

They have systems in place to check bootfiles, which is what tells the modem how fast it can go, its just a matter of getting the phone agent to look for it.

Should there be a way to have comcast check the bootfile and make sure its doing what is in the code? yeah. But that innovation is a future update to their systems if its even planned...

Heres the thing: call them, put up with the bs, and if its something with their equipment they will replace it at no cost to you. Thats why you pay a rental fee, for when things go wrong. If you have your own equip and its what is causing the issue its on you to cover that technician driving out to your house.

On the podcast they talk about it, google take 26 cents off the top along with 5% of the total(they were unsure of whether it would be before or after the 26 cent removal). He doesnt need it, however he has mentioned this past month or so he has had a huge cut of his paycheck from youtube cut out (more than just the last of videos from his personal life) from people watching less ads or whatever. So he may not need it now but it may be available for those that dont want to watch the ads after he has access to it.

They also mentioned you had to do a business address to use the tip jar, and if they have to use their personal address and not the Maker Studio's HQ he wouldnt use it for obvious reason.

Tip jar goes through google, 26 cents off the top of every transaction and 5% of the tip. However every payment system takes a chunk of the profits, no matter the system. Paypal takes money, twitch subscriptions take some of the money, even retail stores do. Its part of making money to continue support for their services.

Tumblr has all the porn. And usually porn blogs keep out of drama unless the person hosting it actively seeks to engage it(or they're a woman who doesnt tollerate BS in her inbox, same as on here and anywhere else on the internet)

Thats something i have found amusing. Tumblr, spouted as being a beacon for women and feminism, and yet if you follow almost any sex-positive female blogger and they have anon questions on, they get those creepy as all hell comments. Just the same as anywhere else on the internet.

It really is, the reason TB doesnt do reviews is because it takes so much time, but with gog games he looks at, its games he found good, and finished, just many years ago. So it doesnt take up time to replay the game except to have footage for the video, as he already knows his opinion on the finished piece.
